Beach, Bike & Blues Festival returned to Waldport on Saturday, May 6, 2023, celebrating community
and welcoming bike racers and their guests for the
11th Annual Oregon Coast Gravel Epic.  1,800 people attended Festival!  THANK YOU LINCOLN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS!

The 2023 Festival featured the
Beachcrest Brewing Music & Beverage Pavilion, six (6) hours of live blues music,
Game Thyme Food Truck, Lazy Dayz Cafe and locally roasted Catalina’s Coffee from Café CHILL.  Chubby Lil’ Mermaid and Filipino Treats offered sweets and The Waldport Irish Booster Club served hot dogs and other goodies for kids (and adults)!
A lively vendor fair featured Hen Hill Handmade Gifts, Pioneer Connect, Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways, Beachcomber Days, Oregon Coast Community College, AnthonyG Creative and Astound Broadband.  Oregon Seafare, supporting our coastal fishing community, served free samples of crab, oysters, ceviche and other fresh caught fare.

Beach, Bike & Blues Festival is the largest Blues Music Festival on the Oregon Coast!

The Opening Act welcomed the return of OLD-TIME BLUES master Paul Schuytema from Depoe Bay.

Following Paul was a Central Oregon Coast favorite:  BLUE VARIANT! Featuring GROOVY Greg Ernst (guitar and vocals); MOJO Ken Mergentime (harmonica and vocals); EZ Eddy Campy (bass and vocals) and Jay Arce (drums and vocals).

Sonny Hess, Lisa Mann & Kelly Pierce from Portland performed an incredible one hour set and looks forward to returning in 2024

The Festival blues line-up closed with the return on our own “Beach, Bike & Blues Festival” BAND with local favorites Curtis Colt, Steve Cook, Ethan Bear and a special appearance by sax player Matt Smith, co-owner of Beachcrest Brewing.
